Inside, always
Radiohead for the quiet times, and Pantera for the loud times
Ocean's Eleven (remake), Office Space, Ghostbusters, Close
Encounters
Video games. We had an Xbox hooked up, and also Gameboy Advances
Wow, I've seen every city in the US so many times now in my career...
Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco. Miami Beach is fun at night!
No sun. Guess that's it, oh, Austin, TX.
I love classic venues... historic places like 9:30 Club in DC (old and new),
Irving Plaza in NYC, The Trocadero in Philly. Pretty much every venue on
that Puppy tour. Then there are some huge places, like Madison Square
Garden, that was awesome.
I only ever eat a late lunch, never dinner before a show. I have a couple
beers, hang in the club, get into the vibe of the crowd and venue.
Otherwise, I do simple stretches to warm up. That's really it, I don't have
any weird things.
Yes, every show. Nerves are part of the excitement. I always thought that if
I ever wasn't nervous anymore, I should quit.
I have a ton to do onstage with Tweaker. Triggering all the loops, playing,
tech stuff, and then just trying to put on a performance; I have to stay
pretty focused on what I'm doing at all times.
Haha, no, thank god! But yeah, I've lost Cd's, games, and a really expensive
DAT recorder once.
No, brought a laptop rig to try to work, but in a van there is no time, and
the van is too bouncy.
When you open you have to assume that most people there aren't there for
you. So you have to pick your best, easiest to get into songs. So for us,
given Puppy was so hard, we didn't do many of our really slow stuff.
My wife, Carrie; my cat, Priscilla. My bed.
I used to when they were fresh, but no I don't. Any free time, I try to
sleep.
When we had it, not so good; EXCEPT 9:30 Club... awesome. More often that
not, clubs will give you 'buyout' money to get food with.
