Can anyone say the words “creative drought”? I can. December was a wash except for one album, and February looks to have about as much on hand as January does. Just two notable releases came out this month… Radiohead and Sia.

Radiohead - In Rainbows (TBD/ATO)
Clever marketing gimmick or new model for delivery? Jury is out on that one, but one thing that can be said is that this album has one hell of a bite. Never ones to disappoint, the tradition continues onward and upward.

Sia - Some People Have Real Problems (Hear Music)
Ah Sia, the most adorable free-spirited blonde making rather depressing music, at least some of the time. Always enchanting, Sia once again delivers a down-tempo album with a punch. With a pop album out next year ahead of her and the fantastic “Colour The Small One” behind her, this sophomore effort is not anywhere near a slump. Impressive as always, with a long career awaiting her.
