Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree (Mute)
February was a slow month, and the only worthwhile thing that crossed my desk was Goldfrapp’s latest opus. I forget where I read it (and I will credit it if I come across it again), but it is the truest and most succinct observation of the album that if “Supernatural” was for the club, that this was for the morning after. Alison Goldfrapp’s is as angelic as ever, and the latest chapter serves as just how dynamic and above most of the rest this duo is.
