Live: Pete Yorn

Oh Pete Yorn, you still got it. Your trip to Rams Head Live in support of your latest album Back And Fourth is no exception.

With a career I’ve followed since “For Nancy” became a moderate success back in the day, Pete Yorn has managed to hold on to this folksy charm since then. While his last couple of efforts have been more often a subdued affair (”Vampyre” and “For Us” can still give one goosebumps), the live atmosphere is a completely upbeat and rockin’ affair.

While about 1000 more people should of been required to be there, the ones that did make the effort were treated to a solid career spanning offering that touched on the upbeat and the more somber affairs. Through tracks such as “Last Summer” to “Shotgun”, Yorn’s down home every-man modern day Bruce Springsteen kind of relatable is always on full display.

It’s a CD and a tour worth checking out.

So, how about that Scarlette Jo collaboration?
