New Music: Neil Young [Dreamin’ Man Live ‘92]

Neil Young has always been unpredictable in nature. Also, not a man that is a fan of deadlines. Surging a head on a second wind of popularity in the early 90’s courtesy of some grunge kids, Dreamin’ Man Live ‘92 documents a time where once again everyone was expecting one thing and got something else entirely.

The latest in an increasingly epic archive series, Dreamin’ Man Live ‘92 captures all that Harvest Moon had to offer. While not in the same running order as the CD itself, it features every track found on the release freshly written, with the richness and excitement that comes from newly birthed material. Performed on an acoustic tour before it’s release, the album displays why just a man and his guitar can be such a powerful thing.

One of the most poignant moments found on the album is Neil and a piano giving a richness to “Such A Woman” few artists are capable of matching.

Overall, it is an effort that proves it was worth the wait.
