Scum of the Earth Riggs
Conducted By: Corey Evans

Apparently not a man of many words, the latest with Scum Of The Earth main man and Rob Zombie axe man Riggs.

Soundnova: Still being a band that is working their way up, how would you introduce your band to someone that hasn't heard Scum Of The Earth before?

Check it. It's some good shit.

The music certainly sticks close to the Rob Zombie vein of industrial metal with the horror feel, when you guys got together, was this what was initially conceived?

No.We just did what we did and however it turned out was it.

How long did the project take to get together and for all the players to fall into place?

Hmmm........................Until now.

What kind of mindset does it take to sit down and write lyrics and sort ofdesign it around this image?

The Jager mindset.

There is enough big names in this project to make a little girl wet herself, with schedules and everything else, was it much of a hassle to get "Blah... Blah..." recorded?

No,it just kind of happened. There are a lot of people who helped out. People you've heard of and people you haven't until now.

With the exception of John and System Of A Down, Ransom and Adema, already getting into high gear, most of the other bands have been on the down low for sometime. What do you see happening with the other members of the group original bands, including your own?

I don't know. I never thought about it.

The groups first tour seemed to of ended rather abruptly, how soon can people expect you to be heading on the road, and what changes may be in store from the first run of dates?

#1 Soon, hopefully. #2 BIGGER BETTER.

Who would you like to take the group out on the road with?

Everyone.

Last time it was a simple headlining jaunt, is there any specific support act you'd want or someone you'd want to support?

DITTO.

Most of the group is from noticeably bigger bands and big labels, how has it been adjusting to getting back into the clubs and doing things small scale and independently?

NOT EASY!

Being obvious fans of horror movies, which do you enjoy more, the purposely cheesy or the unintentionally?

Both.

How was it bringing to life "Shadow Walker" with Paul Jenkins in the epic length music video?

A lot of fun...a lot of shit...a lot of jager.

Seems to be an interesting franchise on its way up, can people look for more of your involvement in it in the future?

Yes.

Besides touring, what can fans expect in the near future, are there already plans for a 'sequel', and if so, what progress is being made on that front.

More albums,videos,etc....etc...This is all we have to do in the meantime.
